Biography
Madia's death
In August 2019, Ashok's wife Madia died. On 17 August, the day of her funeral, a terror attack was committed at Holby Market, and, despite Ashok's fears of him being a target for Islamophobic abuse, Rash insisted on helping out at Holby City Hospital's emergency department. After a difficult shift, Rash called Ashok on the bus and asked if he could have his old room back. (CAS: Episode 1139)
