Beth Archer is the husband of Kenny Archer, Iain Dean's old army colleague.
In March 2014, she took a break in Holby with Kenny in a B&B, but a fire broke out and she burned her hands trying to extinguish it. Iain was called to bring her back to the ED and Kenny later started to get suspicious that Beth and Iain were having an affair. When they returned to the B&B Kenny confronted her about the missed calls and messages on her phone from him and he went to the ambulance station and kept Iain and Big Mac hostage. Once Kenny had been apprehended, Beth went to apologise to Iain and they said goodbye to one another.
