Cassie Weare is a female resident of Holby.
Biography
In March 2019, Cassie went to a disused train carriage workshop with her friend Toby and played a game of truth or date. After they both jumped between two carriages, Toby lost his footing and fell onto the platform below. He shrugged off his injury, but Cassie called for an ambulance when his leg began to bleed profusely. She accompanied him to Holby City Hospital's emergency department, and, after he was diagnosed with leukaemia, Toby opened up to her about his illness. She then helped paediatric registrar Will Noble convince Toby to call his mother Jackie. (CAS: Series 33, Episode 29)
In April, Cassie attended a surprise party in Toby's cubicle after his poor physical condition prevented him from attending the school prom. There, Cassie was devastated to learn from Jackie that Toby was dying. After the party finished, Cassie bade Toby a tearful farewell. (CAS: Series 33, Episode 32)
