The clinical director was a position at Holby City Emergency Department that was used in 1998 till 2002. There was only ever I person to hold this position and the role was latter called Clinical Lead the clinical director is someone who leads the department and it's staff and makes sure the ED is okay and working well. The person who becomes a clinical director will have to be a senior Consultant in Emergency Medicine.
