Consultant

Consultants are doctors who have been placed on the specialist register in their chosen speciality. There are currently four consultants working at Holby City Hospital specialising in emergency medicine. There is no official uniform for consultants in the emergency department, although they are expected to dress well for work. Despite this, Elle Gardner and Ethan Hardy wears dark green scrubs like the registrars and junior doctors.
