Biography[]
Transfer to Selbridge[]
On 15 September, Cyd expressed an interest in a vacant post at Selbridge Ambulance Service, and Josh offered to put a word in for her. Later, whilst Cyd was visiting Dixie on a ward after her asthma was exacerbated during the bombing the previous week, (CAS: "Charlie's Anniversary") Dixie noticed the advertisement in Cyd's pocket but mistook it for an act of altruism to protect her.
Later that day, Cyd asked Josh to recommend her for the job at Selbridge. In Dixie's hospital room, as the paramedic team celebrated Dixie's discharging and Jeff's return, Josh announced that Cyd had been given the job. Privately, Cyd told a devastated Dixie that they were not making each other happy anymore, and she could not give Dixie what she wanted. Although Dixie was indignant about Cyd not consulting her before deciding to leave, the two shared a heartfelt hug. (CAS: "Meltdown")
