Daniel "Dan" Wilder is the former husband of Baz Wilder and former stepfather of Louis Fairhead.
In December 2003 during a trip to Lapland, Dan was trapped under a ski mobile and Charlie saved his life. Following Baz's death the next year, Dan wanted to take Louis back to Canada with him, but when Baz's father was admitted and made it his dying wish for Charlie and Louis to be together, Dan let Charlie have Louis, despite the fact he'd won the case against him.
