Synopsis

Robyn and Glen prepare for their wedding, but Glen begins to take a turn of the worse. He goes to Dylan for help, and a CT scan shows a degree of midline shift which requires urgent attention. However, Glen decides to prioritise the wedding. As he and Robyn stand at the altar, he tries to tell her about his condition but bottles it, and the two are pronounced husband and wife. He continues to ignore Dylan's calls, and the couple set off for their honeymoon. On the way, Glen has a seizure. As Robyn tries to take a U-turn to the hospital, an oncoming van crashes into their car.

Meanwhile, following a romantic encounter at a conference the previous night, Elle arrives at the ED and asks Alicia to write her a prescription for the morning-after pill. Jacob finds out and is angry at her for ignoring his calls asking for help with Blake's homework. Later, when she can't find her medication, she accuses him of taking it. After hearing that Blake passed his test, Jacob decides that he wants to be there for him and, in order to make more time, he resigns as clinical nurse manager.

In cubicles, Alicia and Louise treat an underweight patient named Niamh with a dislocated shoulder who insists that she hasn't got an eating disorder. Initially frustrated when she is given the same incorrect diagnoses, she is relieved once, after a few tests, Alicia diagnoses her with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Elsewhere, Rash and David treat a patient with severe anxiety in the aftermath of her fiancé's death.
