Harry Harper is a former consultant in emergency medicine who worked in Holby City Hospital's emergency department. He joined the department in June 2002 following the resignation of Max Gallagher.

On Harry's first day working at Holby City Hospital's emergency department, he was forced to bring his son Jordan and infant daughter Daisy to work with him due to his wife Beth dismissing their childminder. (CAS: "Denial")

Lara Stone
On Harry's first day in the emergency department, he disagreed with Lara's decision to keep a woman named Melanie Collier, who had been raped, in the ED and urged her to liaise with obs and gynae and the rape suite. After Melanie's husband David complained to Harry about Lara, Harry told Lara to stick to protocol and "lose the attitude". When Lara attended her interview for the registrar position, she was dismayed to learn that Harry was a member of the panel. Later that day, when Harry caught Lara arguing with Duffy, he ordered Lara to take a break. (CAS: "Denial")

Simon MacCorkindale portrayed Harry Harper in Casualty from 2002 until 2008. On 14 October 2010, MacCorkindale died of cancer.
