Lee Stephen Mead (born 14 July 1981) is a British actor and singer. He portrayed Ben "Lofty" Chiltern on Casualty from 2014 to 2016. He made his final appearance in March 2016. According to some sources, he will only be taking a break from Casualty, hinting of his return later in the year. It was later announced that he would instead return to Casualty's sister show, Holby City. However he later returned to casualty in 2017 for Cal's funeral as a guest.
