Paul Unwin (born 1957) is a writer and director for Casualty. Unwin co-created Casualty alongside Jeremy Brock in 1986. Notably, Unwin wrote the first ever episode of Casualty collaboratively with Brock, entitled: "Gas". In 2015, to celebrate the commencement of the the thirtieth series, Unwin both wrote and directed the first two episodes, which aired on the 29 and 30 August 2015. More recently, Unwin wrote the final episode of the 31st series, titled "One", as an end to the 30th anniversary celebrations.
