The reception of Holby City Emergency Department is the main area of the ED, where patients can check in and sit in the waiting area. Currently two members of staff work at reception; Noel Garcia, the reception manager, and Jack Diamond, another receptionist. Louise Tyler worked on reception until 2015, at which point she decided to become a nurse again.
