Series 4 is the fourth series of Casualty. It began airing on 8 September 1989 with the final episode airing on 1 December 1989.
Major events in this series included a terrorist explosion in a department store, a lorry full of chemicals colliding with a car, a terrorist bomb and Duffy's pregnancy. In additon, some of the patients admitted through the course of the series included a monk after punishing himself on a bed of nails, a circumcised girl and a toddler with an aspirin bottle.
