Steve Hughes is an English director known for his work with Casualty and Dr. Who. He directed his first episode of Casualty in 2012 towards the end of series 26. He went on to direct three episodes of series 27 and five episodes of series 28. By series 29, he had become one of the more prominent directors, and directed another five episodes. He continued into series 30, and directed the 30th anniversary feature-length episode at the start of series 31.

  1. Hughes announced that in the episode "Too Old for This Shift", he voiced the radio control person heard inside the helicopter on the radio. This stint was uncredited, as he also directed the episode.
