Supply and Demand is the third of the 2025Casualty miniseries. It will comprise 12 episodes, constituting the final episodes of series 39 and the start of series 40[1], and commenced on 14 June.
The miniseries delves into the harrowing realities of a drug crisis. An interruption to the illegal drug supply chain puts pressure on the entire Emergency Department, who are also under strain from clinical drugs shortages and the poignant toll on the paramedics as they grapple with their own personal demons while striving to save others. Whilst addicts scour the streets, hospital medics struggle to fill prescriptions.
