Xavier "Zav" Duval is a specialist registrar in general surgery who currently works on Holby City Hospital's Acute Admissions Unit.
In April 2018, Zav visited the emergency department to discuss Shawn Compson's surgery with then-then-lead consultant Ethan Hardy and highlighted Bea Kinsella's clinical error. Later, when Bea visited Shawn after an unsuccessful surgery, Zav admonished her for his mistakes, saying that they were avoidable. Template:Holby Characters
